Description This beautiful hardy plant produces masses of 1-inch clusters of white to pink-purple flowers in summer. The foliage is narrow, with wilow like leaves, grows on shrubby plants 12-18 inches in height. Grows well in moist soil as well as water up to 10 inches deep. Is often used to create a "fishable edge" in the earth bottomed pond. Winter care is easy since there is no need to submerge it. Much underused in the water garden and in land reclamation projects. Water willow is an excellent plant to control soil erosion and is great in streams and other areas that have wave action or moving water. *Plant Height: 12-18 inches *Hardiness: Zones 4 - 11 *Flowers: White to Pink-purple *Lighting: Sun to Part shade *Growing Conditions: Moist soil to water up to 10 inches.
